We often judge ourselves in the light of our own actions, choices and life decisions. Or, sometimes by the lack thereof in those areas. We don’t like what we see. We don’t like how that makes us feel. Those feelings can begin to dictate our future actions and choices.
Then we see Jesus. Jesus – who was crucified for us. Jesus, who took our unrighteousness and sin and washed it away.
Jesus, who satisfied the claims of justice in the highest court there is. Jesus, whose payment was massive enough to cover the sins of the entire world.
Whatever we look at, whatever we focus on, that’s the reality that will play out in our day to day lives.
