And yet, there remains an eternal message of hope for those who have ears to hear it. For those who believe, there is a message of hope that assures us we are not alone. Not only are we not alone, but there has been given to us … exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:4)
