It can be difficult leaving things in God’s hands for multiple reasons. First, maybe you’re not convinced what the Will of God is? Even if you don’t know specifics – just look at Jesus. Jesus always wins. He’s never intimidated, confused or taken by surprise. He never changes. What more do you really need to know?
Maybe you feel like you’re paying for your sins and there’s no way out? Again, look at Jesus. He’s faithful to forgive us and bring us through the worst of situations, even if we brought those situations on ourselves through poor choices.
Maybe you feel your lack of insight, understanding or knowledge is keeping you stuck? Well, I have good news for you. Today, we’re going to look at the Holy Spirit and how He will help you.
Consider this, Jesus said it was to our advantage that He leave so the Holy Spirit would come (John 16:7). It’s difficult to believe that it would be to our advantage for Jesus to not be here physically, isn’t it? Yet, He said it was to OUR advantage, so it must be so.
